A Play/workshop for schools performed in an easy literary Arabic about Happiness and Tolerance
As per the vision of his Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and the announcement of the UAE government that 2019 is the Year of Tolerance, to strengthen the nation’s role of encouraging stability and prosperity in the region, ADWAR created “AL SAADA” a workshop in the Arabic language for children.
Professional actors for children conduct the workshop. It was created especially for them to learn about tolerance, accepting others and being positive. The play/workshop is around the challenges the children face every day while seeking happiness in the wrong place.
What is happiness? Where can we find it?
This play/workshop helps the children find their inner happiness through interactions based on their daily stories performed in an easy literary Arabic (Modern Standard Arabic), with emphasis on body language and facial expressions.
Al SAADA story takes place in a public park one afternoon where two little girls Farah and Dalal face several situations while seeking happiness. With the help of the audience, the two friends will figure out that happiness is a choice that starts from within, from being tolerant, understanding, learning, respecting and appreciating others.
